Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR First Aid in
Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor visitor access, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and assist with directions or general site information as needed.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
