Job Description
To support various therapeutic areas including Rare Disease, the full-time Scientific Director, Oncology will manage the planning, development, and oversight of scientific content for assigned accounts, working remotely or onsite in Stamford, CT. Key responsibilities Collaborate with the Group Scientific Director to provide strategic medical communication recommendations that align with brand goals Independently lead the execution of content development activities and supervise Associate Scientific Directors Liaise with in-house and freelance staff to manage writing tasks, including background research and data-checking Required qualifications An advanced degree in science is required Five or more years of relevant experience with promotional medical education content Proven ability to analyze and interpret scientific data and manage projects under tight deadlines Experience with established medical editorial processes and ethical guidelines Oncology experience is required
