Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic middle school environment near Schaumburg, IL. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact working with grades 6-8, managing a caseload of 30 students enrolled in both general education co-taught programs and self-contained settings. This onsite position offers a stable schedule of 35 hours per week, from 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM, and is available for immediate start.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy (OT) license required

• District and state-specific requirements must be met (such as PEL if applicable)

• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred

• Comfort working with students of varying abilities, including those in general education co-taught and self-contained programs

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students needs and develop appropriate intervention plans

• Collaborate daily with educators, administrators, and support staff to ensure integrated care

• Deliver direct and consultation-based OT services for middle school students

• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes

• Engage with families and caregivers to support carryover of strategies

• Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs within both co-taught and self-contained classrooms
