Job Description
Step into an exciting opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist seeking a dynamic role during the 2026/2027 academic year! Work full-time in a supportive school environment, serving students across three closely situated campuses. You’ll play an essential part in helping children reach their full potential, making a real impact every day.
What You’ll Contribute:
• Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in North Carolina
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong evaluation, documentation, and communication skills
• Comfort traveling between multiple school sites less than four miles apart
• Ability to collaborate as part of a team, including participation in play-based assessments for preschoolers.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Deliver both direct and consultative OT services to approximately 35 students (10 consultative, 25 direct service) across three schools
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate one day per week with the TPBA team to assess preschool-aged children using play-based methodologies
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions to support development and educational goals
• Communicate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure integrated support for each student’s needs
• Travel efficiently between two campuses situated together and a third school located just a short drive away
