We are hiring a Radiology Technologist Student to join our imaging team while completing an accredited Radiography program. In this role, you will gain hands-on clinical experience under the direct supervision of registered ARRT technologists, supporting diagnostic imaging services across a variety of patient care settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, surgical, pediatric, and fluoroscopic environments. This position provides an opportunity to develop technical skills, deliver exceptional patient care, and prepare for a successful career in medical imaging.
What You'll Do
- Assist with performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations under the direct supervision of ARRT technologists.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain exams, provide support, and help ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Learn to position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Support imaging services across multiple clinical areas including the Emergency Department, Operating Room, Pediatrics, Fluoroscopy, Portable Imaging, and Outpatient Services.
- Document exam information accurately, assist with equipment preparation and maintenance, and contribute to an efficient workflow that supports quality patient care.
Who You Are
- Currently enrolled in a JRCERT-accredited School of Radiography, entering your second year of the program and in good academic standing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Passionate about patient care and committed to delivering professional, compassionate service.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills with the ability to learn in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
This student position is intended to provide valuable clinical experience from the time of hire through graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
