Role Description This is a full-time role for a Sales Manager based in Edinburgh. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a pipeline of prospects, and growing revenue. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying new opportunities, leading client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and bids, and collaborating with consultants to shape tailored QHSE solutions. The role will also involve building long-term client relationships, tracking performance against sales targets, providing accurate forecasting, and contributing insights to marketing and business development initiatives. The Sales Manager will work closely with the leadership team to refine go-to-market plans and ensure an exceptional client experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, ideally within consultancy, professional services, or high-risk / highly regulated industries.
- Strong skills in prospecting, pipeline management, lead qualification, and negotiation to drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, communicate complex solutions clearly, and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
- Comfort working with targets and KPIs, using CRM and sales analytics tools to manage data, forecast accurately, and report on performance.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work cross-functionally with consultants and leadership teams to design client-focused solutions.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
