Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Security Consultant to provide strategic advisory and consulting support across executive security, event security, physical security risk assessments, workplace violence prevention, investigations, crisis management, emergency preparedness, and corporate security programs.
The consultant will serve as a trusted security advisor to executive leadership, providing risk assessments, security planning, recommendations, stakeholder coordination, and subject matter expertise to strengthen organizational safety, security, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate security, executive security, physical security, investigations, or related areas.
- Strong experience supporting executives, CEOs, and/or Boards of Directors.
- Demonstrated expertise in security risk assessments, event security planning, workplace violence prevention, crisis management, and emergency preparedness.
- Excellent executive presence, communication, judgment, discretion, and consulting skills.
- Experience working in corporate environments and balancing security requirements with business objectives.
- Preferred certifications: CPP, PSP, PCI, CSMP, CPTED, CEM, or similar.
- Provide executive security advisory services, including travel, route, venue, lodging, and protective intelligence assessments.
- Develop and review security plans for executive meetings, board meetings, conferences, and corporate events.
- Conduct physical security, vulnerability, threat, and site risk assessments.
- Support workplace violence prevention, behavioral threat assessments, and security-related investigations.
- Advise on crisis management, emergency preparedness, business continuity, and tabletop exercises.
- Develop and review security policies, procedures, standards, technology assessments, and program maturity initiatives.
- Coordinate with leadership, HR, Legal, vendors, law enforcement, emergency responders, and security providers in an advisory capacity.
