Safety Manager

This role is critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of personnel at a large-scale chemical manufacturing facility. The Safety Manager will lead day-to-day safety supervision, manage safety programs, and train employees and subcontractors on compliance with regulations. Collaborating closely with the Site Leader and Safety Director, this position will have a significant impact on fostering a culture of safety across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:


- Oversee day-to-day safety supervision on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage and implement safety programs that promote a culture of safety among employees and subcontractors.
- Conduct safety inspections and accident investigations to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Train employees and subcontractors in accordance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Collaborate with site leadership to develop strategies for continuous improvement in safety performance.


Required Qualifications:


- A minimum of 6 years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on safety management.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is highly desired.
- Current certifications in OSHA 500, 510, CHST, or CSST are necessary for this role.
- Extensive knowledge of construction and engineering methods and safety protocols is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective training and collaboration.
