We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time Attending Medical Oncologist with a focus on Genitourinary (GU) Malignancies to join our vibrant oncology team. This position is part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to clinical excellence, innovative research, and educational growth.
The successful candidate will work closely with our organization and the Rutgers Cancer Institute, contributing to GU oncology care while also supporting a wider range of oncology services. This role will involve working in both the Northern and Central regions, with responsibilities split between Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and The Rutgers Cancer Institute located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional clinical care to oncology patients in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
• Oversee local Infusion Centers and collaborate on patient navigation across our organization and the Rutgers Cancer Institute.
• Concentrate clinical efforts on genitourinary malignancies while also engaging in additional solid tumor cases as necessary.
• Participate in clinical research and trials supported by the Rutgers Cancer Institute Network.
• Contribute to medical education by teaching students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in tumor boards, departmental committees, outreach education, and initiatives for clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
• Board certified or eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
• Fellowship trained with a focus or experience in genitourinary cancers.
• Licensed in New Jersey or eligible for licensure.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care and advancing oncology services in underserved communities.
