Position Overview
Titan Echelon is seeking an experienced RQ-29 Sensor Operator & Mission Payload Operator (MPO) to join our Flight Operations team supporting Department of Defense missions.

The Mission Payload Operator is responsible for operating advanced sensor payloads and mission systems throughout all phases of ground and flight operations. The MPO works closely with the Pilot in Command (PIC), Mission Commander, and other mission personnel to support safe, effective, and successful mission execution.

This is a full-time, non-deployable position based in the Fort Bragg/Fayetteville, North Carolina area.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate mission payloads, sensors, and associated mission systems to achieve operational objectives during all phases of flight operations.
- Support mission planning, pre-flight briefs, mission execution, and post-mission debriefings.
- Perform real-time remote operation of payload and sensor systems in support of operational requirements.
- Understand the capabilities, limitations, and employment considerations of assigned mission systems.
- Coordinate closely with the Pilot in Command, Mission Commander, and other flight crew members to maximize mission effectiveness.
- Maintain continuous situational awareness throughout mission operations and rapidly adapt to changing operational environments.
- Analyze mission and target environments to support effective payload employment and mission execution.
- Communicate relevant mission information clearly and effectively to flight crews and mission personnel.
- Support safe, efficient, and disciplined flight operations in accordance with established procedures and mission requirements.
- Perform additional mission support duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

- U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Current FAA Class III Medical Certificate.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum of four (4) years of operational experience supporting aviation, ISR, or UAS operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, leadership, flight crews, and teammates.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, extended hours, and schedules driven by mission requirements.


Preferred Qualifications

- Experience operating airborne sensor payloads or mission systems.
- Experience supporting unmanned aircraft operations.
- Familiarity with ISR mission planning and execution.
- Experience working in a military or Department of Defense aviation environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

This position operates within a professional flight operations environment supporting Department of Defense missions. The work is dynamic, mission-driven, and highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with flight crews, mission commanders, and other mission personnel.

The successful candidate must be comfortable operating in a time-sensitive environment and maintaining a high level of situational awareness while supporting mission requirements.
