Unit Specifics:
• Number of Beds :36
• Patient Ratios :1:6
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :Utilize Clinical Care Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, Unit secretary
• Type of equipment :I-med, I-mobile, Neurons (vitals machine), Glucometer,PCA, Wound vac, Chest Tubes, Surgical Drains
• Documentation system: meditech
• Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend.
Patient Type:
• Med Surg/Oncology/ Hospice patients, Also accept hemodynamically stable patients requiring cardiac monitoring with no interventions

Certifications Required:
BLS

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• Wound Vac changes
• Drain Removal
• IV/PICC line
• Foley insertion/removal
• NG Insertion/removal

FLOATING AREA(S):
• Med-Surg and Telemetry (Med-Surg level patients)

Dress Code : (Required uniform)
• Nurses Pewter (gray), PCT Caribbean BLue

• EVERY THIRD WEEKEND
