Contract Registered Nurse - BMT Outpatient

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, rotating weekends (7:30 AM - Noon on Saturday and Sunday)

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the Transplant and Cellular Therapy / Oncology department. As a Registered Nurse in the Bone Marrow Transplant Outpatient clinic, you'll play a crucial role in providing care to patients undergoing treatments such as chemotherapy and blood product transfusions.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, IVIG, and other infusions.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide comprehensive care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize EMR (Meditech) for accurate documentation of patient care.
• Assist with patient education regarding treatments and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• BMTCN/OCN certification is a plus.
