Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Schedule

Day Shift: 5x8 hours from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing, including proficiency in administering chemotherapy and other infusion therapies. This role involves working with a daily caseload of up to 70 patients while maintaining a safe and compassionate environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and supportive treatments in an infusion center setting.

• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments, ensuring safety and comfort.

• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.

• Perform nursing assessments and documentation using Cerner.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in oncology or infusion nursing.

• Current RN license in West Virginia or a compact state; pending licenses accepted.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Oncology Nurse Certification (ONC) preferred.

• Experience with CBCT, kV/mV imaging, and external beam therapy techniques.
