Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. Weekend and holiday requirements apply.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a travel basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Med/Surg nursing and the ability to float between facilities as needed. Candidates must be prepared for weekend and holiday shifts and have a passion for providing compassionate care to oncology patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months recent Med/Surg experience.

• Active RN license to practice without any disciplinary actions.

• Current BLS certification from an approved provider.

• Must be able to start on the listed start date or within one week.

• Driver’s license for residency verification.

• Travel experience is highly preferred.
