Summary:
As a Registered Nurse Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and high-quality treatment to all patients while collaborating with medical management teams to ensure effective patient care. You will lead your team, mentor staff, and provide training as necessary, stepping up as the lead manager when higher authority is unavailable. Strong communication skills are essential as you will interact with patients, families, and team members. Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and be on-call as needed is a key aspect of this role.
Your proficiency in medical and office software applications, combined with your ability to work independently and solve problems, will ensure adherence to the standards set by the American Health Association. You will also need to manage multiple tasks effectively and thrive in high-pressure situations, as experience in patient management, employee scheduling, and collaborating with physicians is vital. Keeping all certifications updated and compliant with healthcare regulations is a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities:
• Perform and coordinate clinical activities in alignment with patient care plans.
• Admit patients by conducting office and phone triage, verifying documentation, and delegating appropriately to staff.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions while helping to develop and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatment options, and symptom management.
• Oversee patient scheduling, prioritize evaluations, direct staff, and make timely adjustments as conditions change.
Requirements:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Current RN License in the state of employment or compact.
• BLS certification.

5 Days - 8 Hours
