Research Associate – Biosensor

We are seeking a Research Associate / Bench Scientist to join a BioMedicine Design research team focused on the characterization and development of biotherapeutic candidates. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
Biosensor technologies, protein-protein binding assays, automated liquid handling, and data analysis.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career scientist to contribute to
biotherapeutic discovery, hit identification, lead optimization, and candidate selection in a collaborative, fast-paced research environment.

Key Responsibilities


- Develop and execute a variety of Biosensor-based binding assays to characterize biotherapeutic candidates.
- Perform in-vitro protein-protein interaction, affinity, and kinetic assays.
- Analyze and interpret binding, affinity, and kinetic data to generate actionable scientific insights.
- Support hit identification, lead optimization, and candidate selection activities.
- Operate and support automated liquid handling and high-throughput screening workflows.
- Prepare high-quality analytical data packages and communicate results to project teams.
- Present experimental findings and data to cross-functional scientific teams.
- Maintain accurate experimental records, data, and documentation in accordance with laboratory practices.


Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree with approximately 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience, or Master's degree with
0–1+ years of relevant experience.
- 1–3 years of hands-on laboratory experience in a biological, biochemistry, biophysics, or related research environment.
- Experience developing and executing in-vitro protein binding assays.
- Knowledge of biotherapeutic/biologic drug discovery processes.
- Experience with laboratory automation, liquid handling, or high-throughput screening.
- Strong analytical, data management, communication, and presentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications


- Experience with Biacore/SPR, Octet/BLI, or similar Biosensor platforms.
- Experience with affinity, kinetic, or epitope binning assays.
- Experience with Tecan, Janus, Beckman, or similar automated liquid handling systems.
- Experience with automated data processing, databases, or analytical workflows.
