Clinical Pharmacist Advisor – Medicare
Fully Remote | Pharmacist | Medicare Part D
A-Line Staffing is seeking Licensed Registered Pharmacists for a fully remote Clinical Pharmacist Advisor – Medicare opportunity supporting Medicare Part D members and providers.
This position focuses on clinical review, case setup, documentation, and Medicare appeals decision support. Previous Managed Care/PBM experience is preferred.
Position Details

• Location: Fully Remote — Work From Home
• Pay Rate: $53.00/hour
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Opportunity: Full-time employment may be available based on performance

• Work Arrangement: Fully remote; never required to report onsite
Schedule
Training
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM EST
Attendance is especially important during the initial 8–10 weeks of training. Candidates must be available Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–5:30 PM EST during the initial training period and should not have planned vacation during this time.
Post-Training Schedule
Business hours are:
• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–8:00 PM EST
• Saturday–Sunday: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM EST
Schedules are assigned based on business needs and may include one weekend day or a weekend rotation.
Candidates must be comfortable working an assigned 8-hour shift within the applicable business hours.
Position Summary
As a Clinical Pharmacist Advisor – Medicare, you will support Medicare Part D members and providers with requests related to their pharmacy benefits.
The role involves ensuring cases are accurately established, reviewing clinical information for decision-making, contacting providers when additional clinical information is needed, and ensuring decisions comply with applicable Medicare guidance, drug compendia, policies, and required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Review Medicare appeals cases and clinical information.
• Ensure accurate case setup and processing.
• Review internal notes and fax requests for relevant clinical information.
• Apply clinical judgment when reviewing cases.
• Contact providers when additional clinical information is required.
• Provide clear and concise documentation.
• Make accurate decisions consistent with Medicare guidelines and applicable drug compendia.
• Follow CMS-mandated timelines.
• Meet established productivity and quality standards.
• Follow work instructions and evolving Medicare guidance.
• Participate in development discussions and receive feedback from supervisors.
• Support a high-quality service experience for Medicare Part D members and providers.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence.
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer applications.
• Ability to work independently in a productivity-driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain focus and work without interruptions throughout the assigned shift.
Preferred Experience
• Previous Managed Care/PBM experience preferred.
• Medicare Part D experience preferred.
• Clinical pharmacy or appeals experience preferred.
• Prior Authorization experience is beneficial.
