Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health to identify their unique needs, including utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and frameworks.
- Deliver individualized one-on-one counseling sessions, assisting clients in addressing and managing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
- Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, including support and psychoeducational groups, to foster community and promote shared learning among clients.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans with clear objectives and therapeutic interventions designed to meet the specific goals of each client.
- Provide immediate support to clients in crisis situations, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating emergency interventions when necessary to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health practices and techniques through continuous training and professional development activities.

Qualifications

- Completion of three years of supervised clinical experience in the mental health field, as mandated by state regulations.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development to further enhance counseling skills and stay current with best practices in mental health care.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport and trust with clients.
