Role Overview
This nursing position involves delivering patient-centered care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing evidence-based practices and critical thinking. The nurse collaborates with patients and their families, adapting care to cultural and population-specific needs, and ensures effective interdisciplinary communication.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate safe, quality patient care and documentation, fostering teamwork and a respectful clinical environment.
Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance care outcomes.
Participate in protocol development, resource management, and professional development activities, including mentoring and precepting colleagues.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and safety goals, and contribute to data collection and clinical questions.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of an Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor of Nursing (Bachelor preferred).
Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact), BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, with proficiency in computer systems, Epic, and 3M preferred.
