Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology Nurse In State College, PA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Oncology Nurse to join our dynamic team in State College, PA. The RN Oncology Nurse will work closely with our oncology patients, administering treatments, developing care plans, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments as prescribed by physician
• Develop and monitor care plans for oncology patients
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Work collaboratively with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor and report patient progress and outcomes
• Provide guidance and education to nursing staff on best practices in oncology nursing
Qualifications and Skills:
• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Oncology nursing experience required
• BSN degree preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• BLS/ACLS certification
