Registered Nurse (RN) - IV Therapy

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a change from the traditional hospital or bedside environment?

Body by AIM360, a growing integrative and wellness-focused medical practice in the North Pittsburgh area, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our clinical team and provide IV vitamin therapy and personalized patient care.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is confident starting IVs, enjoys working one-on-one with patients, and is interested in wellness, nutrition, IV therapy, and integrative medicine.

Schedule
• Monday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Part-time
• No nights
• No weekends

What You'll Do
• Administer provider-ordered IV vitamin and nutrient infusions
• Perform IV insertion and monitor patients safely throughout treatment
• Administer in-office injections and other provider-ordered treatments within the RN scope of practice
• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, injections, IV therapy, nutrition/wellness recommendations, and other practice services
• Reinforce provider instructions and help patients understand how to properly follow their treatment plans
• Monitor patients and appropriately recognize and respond to changes in condition or adverse reactions
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EHR
• Communicate with patients through the EHR and assist with clinical questions as appropriate
• Assist with IV/injection room setup, cleaning, organization, supplies, and inventory
• Collaborate closely with our CRNPs and other members of the clinical team
• Help maintain a welcoming, organized, professional, and patient-centered environment
• Assist with additional clinical responsibilities as the practice and services continue to grow

What We're Looking For

Required:
• Current Pennsylvania RN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Strong IV insertion skills
• Excellent patient communication skills
• Ability to recognize and appropriately respond to changes in patient condition
• Strong attention to detail and accurate clinical documentation
• Professional, dependable, personable, and comfortable working independently within your scope

Preferred:
• Previous IV infusion experience
• Emergency department, ICU, infusion center, or other experience involving frequent IV placement
• Experience in wellness, functional medicine, integrative medicine, or outpatient care
• Experience providing patient education
