Baptist Health is seeking to add a Registered Nurse for our Oncology Progressive Care Unit at Baptist Downtown, located in Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities Include
Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement
Organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services
Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses
Certification- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs
PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED.
Registered Nurse Experience
1-2 years Nursing Experience Required
Oncology Experience Preferred
Education & Credential Requirements
Associate of Science in Nursing Required
Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required
Driver's Licensed Required
