Shift: Third Shift (United States of America) RN - Oncology Medical Surgical (Nights) Werner Cancer Hospital Med-Surg Oncology, or WMSO: This 36-bed med-surg unit in the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center serves a wide variety of medical and surgical oncology and acute care patients with a 1-to-4 or 1-to-5 nurse-to-patient ratio. Services include general oncology, surgical oncology, gynecologic oncology and a select group of hospitalists.
Position Highlights

Provide and coordinate delivery of clinical resources to assure safe, high quality patient care and ensure continuity of care. Perform duties in an environment of care where the needs of a patient are short-term, non-acute, and non-life threatening.
Shift and Employment

Full Time, Night shift (7 pm – 7 am)
Required Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma
• Demonstrated effective communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) department dependent
Preferred Qualifications
• Based on position, prior experience in patient nursing, specialty/primary care clinic and/or telephonics
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Proficient with use of email applications
• Experience with EPIC or other electronic medical records
• Specific to the Medical Call Center department; multi-state license preferred
