Location: 80 Seymour Street (10008)
Shift: Three 10-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our outpatient Infusion Centers, you will be responsible for delivering holistic, top-quality nursing care to patients and their families. Your responsibilities include:
• Conducting thorough patient assessments and providing effective symptom management and education for patients and families.
• Administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, infusions, injections, and transfusions safely and competently.
• Collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care throughout treatment stages, which includes working closely with providers, social workers, dieticians, and other specialists.
• Coordinating with provider offices to efficiently schedule patient infusion visits.
• Triage patients in accordance with established pathways, collaborating with physicians on symptom management and necessary referrals.
• Managing a diverse caseload of patients receiving various infusion and oral therapies in an outpatient setting.
• Demonstrating excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Engaging in continuous professional development, focusing on patient safety and enhancing the patient experience.
• Participating in the implementation of clinical support programs to ensure optimal patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
• Current Connecticut RN License
• OCN Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card (or obtain within the first month of hire)
Education:
• BSN preferred
Experience:
• At least two years of experience in Oncology Nursing preferred
