Job Description
Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a high-acuity Medical Oncology Unit, utilizing advanced nursing skills within a multidisciplinary team. The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient wellness, safety, and quality improvement.
Responsibilities
• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care through the nursing process.
• Precept and mentor new healthcare team members.
• Prioritize patient needs and promote a patient-centered approach.
• Participate in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, ensuring safety and quality at the point of care.
Qualifications & Skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program or state-approved nursing school.
• Active RN licensure and at least 6 months of RN experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
