As a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), you will manage patient records, ensure accuracy, maintain compliance with privacy regulations, and streamline data retrieval. Your attention to detail supports effective clinical decision-making and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, maintain, and update patient health records in EHR systems.
- Verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with privacy laws (HIPAA).
- Assist clinical staff in accessing patient data for care decisions.
- Monitor data quality and work on process improvements.
Qualifications
- RHIT certification required.
- Familiarity with home health documentation and compliance standards.
- Strong attention to detail, data management, and organizational skills.
