## Overview

The Regional Account Director, Community Oncology reports to the Head of US Strategic Account Management and will engage with key community oncology accounts to support the development and pull-through of new and existing CAR

- T service lines. This is a remote, field-based role with responsibility across the East geography.

### What this position does day to day

You will drive strategic and targeted customer engagement with community oncology customers in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration with US Market Access leadership, Customer Engagement, CIAO, Medical, Quality, and other Kite and Gilead partners is central to the role. You may also engage relevant community-focused organizations such as FACT, COA, and CCC.

You will:

- Drive execution of commercial engagements within targeted accounts alongside NADs/ED/MPDs and develop strategic plans and tactics with business leaders and executives at assigned accounts.

- Lead strategic partnerships and corporate initiatives between Kite and assigned customers, including EMR integration and pathways, sponsorships and partnerships (serving as Kite Responsible Employee when applicable), population health analyses and RWE concepts in partnership with HEOR and Med Affairs, data agreements & analyses, integrated care delivery models, value-based partnerships, and network expansion & enablement.

- Evaluate current ATCs, potential site expansions, referral patterns, and overall business development strategy in geographic community oncology accounts and, in alignment with NADs and ED of Customer Engagement, engage potential expansion sites to determine interest and viability.

- Create and support practice-level access for Kite CTAMs and other team members and oversee handoffs to onboarding leads and support resources as appropriate.

- Identify and pull through contracting opportunities, including leading relevant negotiations and contract term discussions in assigned accounts. Support execution of provider-facing contracts, including negotiation, implementation, and performance tracking, partnering with Trade, Pricing, and Contracting teams.

- Conduct performance reviews, QBRs, contract reviews, and lead quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with key stakeholders.

- Engage P&T and formulary decision makers to ensure parity access for CAR

- T class and Kite brands, deliver financial and reimbursement education, and manage corporate level PIE engagements and PIE at affiliated practices.

- Educate stakeholders on Kite's CAR

- T portfolio, clinical data, reimbursement pathways, and patient support services, and work with provider access strategy and field teams to resolve logistics, reimbursement, and patient access issues.

- Monitor and report on account-level trends, competitive dynamics, and operational challenges that may impact CAR

- T access or performance and aggregate insights from affiliated entities to inform broader provider strategy and commercial planning.

### Experience and education that qualify you

The posted basic qualifications are: Advanced scientific degree (i.e., MD, Pharm. D, Ph. D) and 8+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree and 10+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of experience. Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience in market access and/or relevant customer-facing commercial roles; demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision making; high levels of emotional intelligence and situational awareness; deep strategic and tactical experience leading change-based initiatives and field-based functional teams; and a deep understanding of the reimbursement landscape for CAR

- T, including single case agreements and network requirements.

Strong history of building meaningful business relationships with complex healthcare customers, particularly in the oncology and/or CAR T business, and contract negotiation experience in the healthcare setting with extra focus on the community oncology setting are emphasized. Significant travel expected (>50%).

### Compensation and benefits

The salary range for this position is: $205,615.00 - $266,090.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
