Recruiting Manager

Are you an experienced agency recruiter who wants to work in wellness, nutraceuticals, and better-for-you CPG — not just any desk?

Kalon Executive Search is a specialized executive search firm serving nutraceutical, CPG, and wellness companies. We are hiring a Recruiting Manager to run a full desk: business development and candidate work, end to end.





Location: San Diego / Remote





Requirement: Previous agency experience. This is full-desk / full-cycle recruiting.





What you’ll do:


- Identify industry-specific clients and build relationships with founders and executives
- Source and qualify candidates for retained and contingency searches
- Review resumes and conduct phone and video interviews
- Prepare candidates for interviews, manage communication, and extend offers
- Coordinate new-hire paperwork and background checks
- Keep client and candidate records current in our CRM
- Hit weekly and monthly placement goals
- Partner with hiring managers so searches stay on pace
- Support other projects in a fast-moving boutique environment






What we’re looking for:


- Genuine interest in health, wellness, supplements, and CPG (growing, wholesale, and retail)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or a related field preferred
- Comfort in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment
- Minimum 1 year of full-cycle recruiting with a regional or national staffing firm
- Clear command of the full recruitment lifecycle
- Proficiency with ATS/CRM and Claude and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and follow-through
- Flexibility for a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional weekend work when a search requires it


Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 base + uncapped commission and full benefits.
