We are looking for a proficient Nuclear Medicine Technologist to become part of our radiology department. In this position, you will handle the preparation and administration of radioactive substances for imaging or treatment purposes, while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety throughout the procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and administer radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients via injection, inhalation, or orally.
• Utilize advanced imaging equipment to obtain images of radioactive substances within the body for diagnostic use.
• Oversee patient well-being during procedures, noting any adverse reactions or issues.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to safeguard patients, colleagues, and yourself from undue exposure.
• Work alongside physicians to interpret imaging results, contributing to precise diagnoses and treatment strategies.
• Keep thorough records of procedures and ensure the correct disposal of radioactive materials in line with regulations.
