As a Radiologic Technologist Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Your responsibilities include:
• Operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality radiographs for accurate diagnosis.
• Preparing patients for procedures through proper positioning and imaging techniques.
• Maintaining standards of production and quality for radiographs.
• Documenting patient care services accurately in records.
• Reviewing exams for technical accuracy and anatomical orientation.
• Assisting radiologists with patient care, including medication and contrast administration.
• Participating in emergency call rotation as needed.
Qualifications Needed
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• (ARRT-R) Radiography certification must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Completion of vocational school or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
