MRI Radiographers Required





NEW INSOURCING CONTRACT AWARDED, MOBILISATION AND GO LIVE SEPTEMBER 2026





Frontline Insourcing East of England, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft area.





Frontline Insourcing has secured a new NHS insourcing contract in the East of England,(Contract Awarded) and we are building our clinical team ahead of go live at the end of August. We are looking for HCPC registered MRI Radiographers to join our team.






- 08:00 to 20:00, Monday to Sunday, 7 day service
- 11.5 hours worked, long shifts to maximise your earning potential
- One unpaid 30 minute lunch break, plus two paid 15 minute breaks
- Rota scheduled and shared well in advance
- Consistency in our teams is essential. You will work in a fully air conditioned mobile MRI unit with our GE Voyager scanner, alongside a friendly team, with full Frontline 24/7 support team behind you
- Minimum 12 month contract, long term with strong potential for extension thereafter
- Pay: good rates, and to be discussed once your CV has been received
- Payment: weekly, in your preferred method






Team Structure





A minimum of two Radiographers will be working on the unit at all times to maintain safe and efficient patient flow. As this is a standalone mobile unit, we are keen to build a well-balanced, diverse team that reflects the patient population we serve.





Essential:


- Current HCPC registration
- NHS experience
- Experience working with GE Voyager MRI scanners (Please Include this experience above in your CV when submitting)
- Minimum of 2 years' MRI experience, fully competent across all aspects of MRI scanning
- Comfortable undertaking cannulation as part of the role
- At least one team member ILS trained, given the standalone nature of the unit






Desirable:

MRI safety training or knowledge (MRSO status is not required)





The service will begin with a focus on non contrast studies to build volume quickly, with a clear view to flexing into simple contrast examinations as the unit becomes established, so experience across the full breadth of MRI scanning will be valued as the role develops.





As part of our regional team building, we aim to keep travel and time away from home to a minimum wherever possible, and to help clinicians stay local in the evenings. That said, we also welcome those who are happy to travel further afield for the right opportunity.
