The general pay scale for this position at MOH is $35.15-$66.40 per hour . The actual hiring rate depends on various factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, responsibilities, location, and work performance. SCOPE: Under direct supervision, administers radiation therapy treatments to patients. Accurate positioning of the radiation beam and precise delivery of the prescribed dose are essential. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities Accurately delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist. Enters and maintains patient treatment parameters in electronic medical records. Participates in clinical instruction of new therapists and students. Assists in maintaining the patient appointment schedule and submitting correct billing information. Cuts blocks and makes custom molds accurately when applicable. Performs simple MU calculations accurately. Interprets computerized treatment plans effectively. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program. Entry-level position requiring 0-3 years of active practice as an RTT. ARRT certification and valid state license for radiation therapy are required. Physical Demands The physical demands include sitting, using hands for various tasks, occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Vision and hearing should be corrected to normal ranges. Work Environment Work is performed in an office setting with significant interaction with staff and external parties.
