Job Summary:
The Radiation Therapist position is based in an outpatient Radiation Oncology clinic. This role involves delivering external beam radiation therapy treatments on Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines. The position is suitable for experienced professionals able to function independently with minimal supervision, focusing on patient care and treatment accuracy.

Job Details:
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, Monday through Friday, with hours mostly from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS (American Heart Association or ARC), a minimum of 5 years of experience in external beam radiation therapy patient treatment delivery, and licensure or registration as required. Location requirements include being licensed or registered in relevant jurisdiction.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines; knowledge of radiation oncology procedures; experienced in CT scans for treatment planning.
• Additional Information:
• Treatment procedures involve external beam radiation therapy using advanced equipment.
• Orientation includes shadowing current therapists, with an expected onboarding period of 3-5 days for experienced professionals.
• Therapists will perform routine charting via the EPIC system.
• No floating to other departments; dedicated to Radiation Oncology.
• Dress code is business casual with scrubs, no open-toed shoes, and Asante T-shirt or scrub top.
• The work environment adheres to safety and clinical standards for acute care settings.
