Job Description
Radiation Therapist Oncology
Location: Des Moines, Iowa (Onsite) Work Type: Permanent Positions: 1 Hours: 3640 Hours per Week
The Radiation Therapist Oncology is responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients as prescribed by radiation oncologists. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a strong focus on patient safety and compassionate care in an oncology setting.
Must-Have Qualifications
Minimum 12+ years of Radiation Therapist experience ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (Required) State License Iowa (Required prior to start, if applicable) BLS Certification (AHA Required) Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field Strong knowledge of radiation safety and oncology procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in hospital or cancer center settings Familiarity with linear accelerators and treatment planning systems Strong patient care and communication skills
Work Environment
Radiation Oncology Department Onsite role in Des Moines, IA Patient-focused oncology care setting

Must be flexible with day shifts and scheduling needs Ability to work with high attention to detail and precision Must comply with all radiation safety and regulatory standards
