Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to administer prescribed radiation treatments and provide safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care.
Required Qualifications
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy program.

• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical radiation therapy experience.

• Active New York State Radiation Therapist License.

• ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification required.

• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and Mosaiq EMR required.

Responsibilities
• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments using Varian TrueBeam.

• Position and immobilize patients accurately for daily treatment.

• Verify treatment fields using port images and obtain physician approval.

• Perform daily QA and safety checks on treatment equipment.

• Review prescriptions and identify mathematical or technical discrepancies.

• Document treatments and maintain accurate records in Mosaiq EMR.

• Perform chart checks and simple dose calculations.

• Monitor patients during treatment and report adverse reactions.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment.
