Radiation Therapist – 2 Days/Week – 16 Hours/Week – $80/hour

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and organized part-time Radiation Therapist to work in our DermRay clinic in Redondo Beach, CA. The successful candidate will put patient satisfaction first and work well with others. The position is part-time at $80/hour, about 2 days (16 hours) per week. Therapists have some control over their own schedule. The work is personally satisfying and fairly independent. You'll mainly give curative treatment to patients with non-melanoma skin cancer. For the right person, the role can grow into more hours over time, with very competitive pay and benefits. A bonus based on performance and clinic growth is also possible.

Responsibilities
• Schedule patient treatments
• Simulate patients
• Deliver radiation therapy safely and accurately
• Document clinical work and keep treatment records up to date

Hours & Schedule
Two days per week, about 8 hours per day, usually between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Therapists have some ability to choose their days. More hours may become available as the clinic grows.

Qualifications
• ARRT (T) Board Certification (Required)
• California state radiation therapy license, or eligibility to get one (Preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong patient-first attitude
• Comfortable with technology and electronic charting

Equipment
Xstrahl Radiant, Xoft Axxent, and Sensus SRT-100. Training is provided onsite.
