Role Description
This is a either part-time or full-time on-site role for a Radiation Therapist located in Northfield, NJ. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for accurately administering radiation therapy treatments using a variety of equipment and technologies. Daily tasks include following prescribed treatment plans, ensuring patient safety through radiation safety protocols, and maintaining detailed patient records. The role also involves working closely with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
Qualifications
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required
• Knowledge of Radiation Safety procedures and protocols
• Experience with radiation therapy technology
• Understanding of medical practices in radiation therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is an advantage
