Job Description
Aspirus Health is seeking a dedicated and driven Radiation Oncologist to join their thriving health system at the Aspirus Cancer Care center in Wausau, Wisconsin. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide critical services at the main facility, with outreach coverage 1-2 days a week in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative, high-functioning, multidisciplinary team environment utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
Practice Info
• Main facility located at Aspirus Cancer Care - Wausau in Wausau, Wisconsin, with outreach coverage 1-2 days a week in Rhinelander, Wisconsin
• Utilize cutting-edge equipment, including Varian TrueBeam, Varian Edge, Nucleotron HDR, Siemens Large Bore CT simulation, and advanced techniques such as SRS, SBRT, 4D technologies, along with the ARIA and Eclipse treatment planning systems
• Work alongside highly skilled physics and dosimetry staff, along with a strong multidisciplinary oncology team with a robust referral base
• Advanced Practice Clinician support in the clinic
• Facility is CoC Accredited and NAPBC Accredited
• Leading site for NRG CTEP and NCORP research
Responsibilities
• Provide expert radiation oncology care for a wide variety of cancer patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized treatment plans
• Engage in patient education, treatment planning, and follow-up care
• Provide care in Wausau, and Rhinelander, Wisconsin
