Radiation Oncologist

OSF HealthCare is excited expand our Radiation Oncology program in Galesburg, Illinois, and we’re seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist to help build and shape its future. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact while being part of a collaborative, mission-driven health system.

Job Specifics
• OSF HealthCare is investing in Radiation Oncology at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg IL and we seek a dedicated and caring Radiation Oncologist
• Plans are underway for a permanent home for Varian Truebeam Accelerator technology.
• Patients are currently being served in a temporary facility with Varian Halcyon Linear Accelerator with support from our nearby OSF Cancer Institute in Peoria, IL for other treatment modalities.
• Join a strong oncology team including surgery and medical oncology providers who are committed to comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Benefit from an established primary care network of OSF providers to support your practice.
• Daily treatment volumes of 20 patients with an opportunity to grow to 30+ per day.

Required Qualifications:
• Education: Doctorate
• Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
• Board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology.
• Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Interest or experience in establishing and growing a Radiation Oncology program.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.

• Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $575,000-$633,000.
• Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
