Radiation Oncologist

• Multidisciplinary collaboration with medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiology, pathology, medical physics, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team

• Utilize advanced radiation therapy technologies and techniques

Responsibilities

• Provide Radiation Oncology coverage at UCLA Health locations throughout Southern California, based on clinical and operational needs

• Evaluate and manage patients who may benefit from radiation therapy as part of their comprehensive cancer treatment

• Provide radiation oncology consultation, treatment planning, on-treatment management, and follow-up care

• Develop individualized radiation treatment plans based on each patient's diagnosis and clinical needs

• Collaborate with medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiology, pathology, medical physics, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team

• Utilize advanced radiation therapy technologies and techniques to deliver precise, patient-centered treatment

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation within the electronic medical record

• Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives within Radiation Oncology

Compensation

• Salary Range: $142,100 - $348,100 Annually

• At 5% time, the base salary rate for this position is $666.67 per month or $8,000 per year

• At 5% time your non-base pay rate for this position is $1,333.33 per month or $16,000 per year

• Your total compensation at 5% time is $2,000 per month or $24,000 per year

Shift & Schedule

• Work Schedule variable and dependant on operational need

• Clinical coverage of up to eight days per month

Requirements

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology residency

• Active California medical license or eligibility for California licensure

• Ability and willingness to provide clinical coverage across UCLA Health Radiation Oncology locations throughout Southern California

• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered cancer care

• Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary clinical environment
