Job Description
Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician for a 6 month + Contract. Work schedule is 4x10's Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities
- Performing functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations, including working with engineers in quality assurance procedures related to production or operations.
- Using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data to assist in assessing and documenting results of quality assurance and control processes.
- Determining and potentially assisting in developing methods and procedures for quality assurance and control.
- Working with engineers in conducting experiments.
Qualifications
- Experience performing quality inspections, preferably with microscopes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and guidelines.
- Basic understanding of quality assurance and control principles.
- Proficiency in data collection and evaluation tools.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Experience with performing quality inspections using a microscope is preferred
- Familiarity with advanced inspection equipment and software.
- Prior experience working with engineering teams on quality initiatives.
