This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, day shift from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with every fourth weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in an acute rehabilitation setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the treatment and care of patients in the rehabilitation department. This role involves implementing treatment plans, providing interventions, and collaborating with rehabilitation professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic interventions to patients.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.

• Document care provided in compliance with facility policies.

• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and exercises.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state.

• Minimum of inpatient rehabilitation experience (IRF/Acute Care/SNF).

• Experience with EMR systems such as Cerner and transitioning to Epic preferred.
