Psychiatric Consultant (Remote, Flexible, Consulting-Only)





Montebello Health Group is growing our integrated behavioral health program and seeking a Psychiatric Consultant to join our Collaborative Care (CoCM) team. This is a fully remote, flexible consulting role, perfect for psychiatrists, PMHNPs, or Psychiatric PAs who enjoy population-based care, clinical collaboration, and meaningful impact without the demands of direct patient visits.





What You'll Do





As our Psychiatric Consultant, you'll partner with our Behavioral Health Care Manager and Primary Care Providers to guide treatment plans, review symptom measures, and support high-quality behavioral health care across a patient panel. You'll participate in weekly case review meetings, offer diagnostic and medication recommendations, and help ensure patients receive timely, evidence-based support.





This role is consultative only, with no prescribing, no crisis work, and no on-call responsibilities.





You're a Great Fit If You Are:


- A licensed Psychiatrist (MD/DO), PMHNP, or Psychiatric PA, licensed in New York
- Currently operating an active practice in New York
- Skilled in psychopharmacology and diagnostic formulation
- Comfortable providing clear, concise recommendations
- Collaborative, communicative, and supportive in team-based care
- Open to structuring the engagement through a PC-MSO arrangement with your practice (a standard compliance setup for consulting engagements like this one; we'll walk you through it, no cost or extra administrative burden on your end)






Experience with the Collaborative Care Model is a plus but not required.
