Dana-Farber Farber Cancer Institute is undergoing a large-scale organizational transformation that impacts workforce operations, patient/family communications, physician communications, and broader internal change management efforts. The Project Manager, Communications & Marketing will sit at the intersection of communications, hospital operations, and transformation work. This person will bring structure, organization, tracking, prioritization, and operational rigor to the communications initiatives related to this transformation.

The Project Manager, Communications & Marketing will sit at the intersection of communications, hospital operations, and transformation work. This person will bring structure, organization, tracking, prioritization, and operational rigor to the communications initiatives related to this transformation.

This person will function as the operational backbone of a highly visible transformation communications effort. Every day, they'll sit alongside senior communications leadership helping manage dozens of moving pieces tied to organizational change initiatives happening across the Institute.

The Project Manager, Communications & Marketing, will own trackers, organize presentations, manage select meetings, coordinate review cycles, route materials through approvals, manage follow-ups, and ensure communications projects continue moving forward even as requirements evolve daily.

This person needs to thrive in ambiguity. The ideal candidate bring calmness, organization, and confidence while helping the team stay aligned and moving forward.

Must Haves

-5+ years of professional experience in Project Management with specific focus on internal communications and/or transformation initiatives

-Experience supporting communications or marketing-related project work

-Clinical operations exposure or clinical background combined with communications experience

-Experience managing shifting priorities in highly dynamic environments

-Exceptional organizational and tracking skills

-Demonstrated proficiency with project management tools and platforms, such as project plans, Gantt charts, etc.

-Ability to work cross-functionally with both operational and communications stakeholders

-Strong editorial skills

-Calm demeanor under pressure; adaptable and flexible personality

Nice to Haves

-Experience specifically within hospital transformation initiatives

-Background supporting internal change communications

-Experience with storytelling or human-centered communications strategies

-Exposure to physician communications or workforce communications

-Previous experience within large academic medical centers such as MGB, Dana-Farber, etc.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate's relevant experience, skills and qualifications.

For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

$129,790.00 - $136,595.00
