Project Manager – Construction

Location: St. Louis, Missouri





We’re partnering with a well-established national general contractor to hire a
Project Manager for its growing St. Louis team.





This is a great opportunity for a construction professional who wants to take ownership of projects from initial concept and preconstruction through execution and closeout. The company works across a diverse range of project types and is open to candidates from a variety of construction backgrounds.





What You’ll Do:


- Manage construction projects from inception through completion
- Oversee estimating, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project execution
- Support contract negotiations and proposal preparation
- Work closely with owners and design teams during early project development
- Develop accurate and complete project estimates
- Participate in owner proposal meetings and provide value-engineering ideas
- Manage subcontractor selection and the project buyout process
- Lead jobsite meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders
- Organize and manage multiple project activities while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations
- Make informed decisions under deadlines and proactively resolve project challenges






What We’re Looking For:


- 3–5+ years of construction project management experience; multiple experience levels will be considered
- Design-build construction experience is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with owners, design teams, field leadership, and subcontractors
