Founded in 2011 by the Fabre Vega family, Latattore Foundation is a family-led foundation dedicated to giving back to the communities that shaped our future.

We primarily serve the San Diego–Tijuana region, with additional work across the United States and Mexico. As an immigrant family-led foundation, we understand the importance of community, connection, and supporting one another through hardship and change.
Our approach combines trust-based philanthropy, relationship-centered partnerships, and accessible mental and behavioral health programming for the families and communities our partners serve.
The Opportunity
Latattore Foundation is seeking a Program Director to join our leadership team and work directly with the Executive Director.
This is a new senior leadership position for someone who is equally energized by big-picture strategy and hands-on community work.
The Program Director will shape and grow the Foundation’s workshop and program strategy—from listening to the needs of families and community partners to designing programming, facilitating workshops, developing partnerships, and measuring impact.

What You’ll Do
Program Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the design and evolution of Latattore’s program and workshop strategy.
- Engage directly with community partners and families to understand their needs.
- Develop short- and long-term programming plans and pathways.
- Identify opportunities to expand programming into new communities.
- Ensure programming reflects best practices in mental and behavioral health.
- Serve as a thought partner to the Executive Director on program direction and growth.
Program Management & Facilitation
- Oversee day-to-day program operations and delivery.
- Lead, coordinate, and facilitate workshops.
- Ensure programming is high-quality, culturally relevant, and consistent with our mission.
- Manage program schedules, logistics, and staffing.
- Oversee the development of curriculum, presentations, and outreach materials.
Community Partnerships
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships with community partners and host sites.
- Identify and develop new partnerships that expand the Foundation’s reach and impact.
- Represent Latattore Foundation at community events and gatherings.
Evaluation & Impact
- Develop frameworks for measuring program effectiveness and impact.
- Collect and analyze program data and feedback.
- Translate what we learn into stronger programming and strategic decisions.
- Help develop the Foundation’s annual impact report across programming and giving.
Organizational Support
- Help maintain strong internal systems, communication, documentation, and workflows.
- Support program and grant tracking, reporting, scheduling, and data management.
- Coordinate meetings and ensure follow-through on key priorities.
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold a master’s degree in mental and/or behavioral health.
- Have a strong understanding of community-based mental health practices.
- Have experience designing and leading programs in under-resourced communities.
- Are comfortable moving between strategic leadership and hands-on execution.
- Are an excellent communicator, facilitator, organizer, and relationship builder.
- Are comfortable using Google Workspace, Gamma, Canva, and Zoom.
- Are bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Live in San Diego and are comfortable working across diverse communities throughout central and south San Diego.
- Have flexibility for evening and occasional weekend programming. Most workshops take place Monday–Thursday between 5:00–8:00 p.m.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90,000–$110,000
