Job Description
Our client, an apparel manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Manager to join their team in NY.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production cycle
- Communicate daily with overseas manufacturers to manage timelines and ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain T&A calendar
- Handle cost negotiations
- Work closely with the QC team to coordinate all inspections and uphold product quality standards
- Monitor and manage production schedules
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in production
- Prior experience working with Walmart
- Experience in women's, men's and kid's apparel
- Must have experience with garment testing/regulations
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-pace environment
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Experience with production planning, capacity management, and risk mitigation
