We are currently seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PRN position. In this dynamic role, you will utilize advanced imaging techniques and radioactive drug tests to aid in diagnosing and managing various health conditions. Your flexibility and readiness to assist our healthcare team as needed are crucial to your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously under the guidance of a physician to detect or treat illnesses using specialized radioisotope equipment.
• Provide detailed images, data analysis, and pertinent patient information to facilitate accurate diagnostic interpretations by physicians.
• Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and imaging equipment in compliance with established safety standards.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect yourself, coworkers, and patients.
• Prepare stock radiopharmaceuticals while following stringent safety guidelines to minimize radiation exposure.
• Manage patient records and radiologic service data effectively.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, explaining procedures and expected outcomes.

• Proficient in nuclear medicine technology and handling radioactive materials.
• Capable of operating complex medical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with excellent communication abilities.
• Keen attention to detail with outstanding time management skills.
