Location: 213 St Olaf Ave N B, Canby, MN 56220, USA
Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts
Job Schedule: PRN
Weekly Hours: Varies
Salary Range: $32 - $48

Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospice environment. This includes documenting human responses to health issues in home healthcare settings. You will collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to plan and implement effective care strategies. Your role encompasses all facets of patient care from preventative measures to health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
As an RN, you will function within the nursing practice standards mandated by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules applicable in your state of licensure. Uphold the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation for your care delivery and professional conduct.
Qualifications
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred). A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• At least one year of professional nursing experience is preferred.
• Possess a current unencumbered RN license in the state you will be practicing, or hold multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Maintain required department competencies and certifications. A valid driver's license may be required depending on the location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Certification as a Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) is preferred.
