Job Summary

Advance your scientific career with a premier global biopharmaceutical leader dedicated to discovering life-changing therapies. We are seeking a Principle Scientist, DMPK to join an established, collaborative team in Bridgewater, NJ. In this highly visible discovery-stage role, you will serve as the primary DMPK representative on cross-functional project teams, driving data interpretation and helping determine which candidate compounds advance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional DMPK expert on multi-disciplinary teams, presenting data to biology, chemistry, and pharmacology partners.
• Plan, execute, and analyze hands-on in vitro and in vivo DMPK studies, with a strong focus on drug metabolism and biotransformation.
• Provide strategic oversight and manage external study outsourcing with Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
• Utilize contemporary LC-MS/MS instruments to conduct bioanalytical and metabolic stability evaluations.
• Author and review high-quality study reports, protocols, and DMPK documentation to support regulatory IND/NDA timelines.

Qualifications

Required:

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Chemistry, or a related discipline with 5+ years of pharma industry DMPK experience (OR Master's degree with 6+ years of experience).
• Proven hands-on experience conducting in vitro and in vivo drug metabolism or pharmacokinetic studies.
• Strong background utilizing LC-MS/MS instrumentation and interpreting complex analytical data.
• Ability to work fully on-site 5 days a week in Bridgewater, NJ.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (visa sponsorship is not available).

Preferred

• Prior experience supporting IND/NDA regulatory submissions.
• Familiarity with cell-based assays or radiolabeled biotransformation studies.
